The "A-B-C's" of Newborn Safety

This is such an important topic when we talk about newborn photography. There are so many photographers, so many well meaning friends, and so many parents who need to know the basics. So I wanted to give a few them to you here in one place.

Have a question? Leave a comment!

A is for "Autonomy"

Did you know?

Not all newborns are able to achieve all poses! Its very important to understand your baby’s physical abilities before attempting many poses.

B is for "Bloat"

Got Gas?

One feel of his tummy and I knew this little guy would not be comfy on his tummy. Even gassy babies can make great photos!

C is for "Composite"

It's Magic!

Many of the photos you see online are achieved via composite editing in photoshop. This is done to ensure the safety of your baby!
