About Me

This is me. I'm a curly topped girl from the wild west who grew up outside on a farm and in a wood-shop with my parents. They passed on my passion for hard work,  entrepreneurship, and the love of artistry and good music.

If you can't find me in my home studio, you're sure to find me in the kitchen with my kiddos, playing the piano, or in the back yard building something while they play! I can't get enough of creating.

This is me, but why babies? I'm going to get real for a moment and I'll likely cry writing this, but without this its just a bunch of cute pictures without purpose.

The reason I decided to open this studio, is because I believe every mother deserves to stay with her baby. Forever.

The year 2015 was the hardest year of my life. Among our trials, my husband and I experienced 3 miscarriages One of those miscarriages nearly took my life as well. While lying in that ER, with fluids and a transfusion saving my life, I knew I would never go home with my baby. I knew that child was gone, and regardless of the two beautiful blessings at home, I felt broken.

It took over a year for me to fully process what that experience meant to me and how I could channel that trauma to help others.

When speaking with a friend of mine she asked me. Why babies? You see, I used to be a full time wedding photographer. I've been shooting newborns for 10 years, but it wasn't my main gig. Why not go back to the big paying jobs?

My response took even me off guard. (She has a way of getting the truth out).  NO mother should have to forget any part of her baby. No matter what, I want every mother to be with her baby forever, and the way that I can do that, is through my photography.

I am the visionary who helps moms stay with their babies forever.

Babies grow up. Newborns leave us. Whether through time or the unspeakable tragedies that life sometimes brings, we only have our babies for a very short time. My job is to extend that a little bit. Second by second, minute by minute, every time you look at that photograph, you are with your baby again. Soft cheeks, squishy legs, wrinkly fingers, feathery hair...

So this is me. This is my work. This is my purpose. Because I know what it feels like to have to never have known my baby's face, and you deserve to know your baby's face for a lifetime.
